They all want the benefit of Limited Liability but to only be taxed as if they had personal liability.

And to cap it all " we will have to charge more to HM Government and all our clients" 

- uh no...... YOU WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT LESS TAKE HOME PAY as the price of Limited Liability just like all Directors of your clients. 

Is the greed of Accountants, Solicitors and Investment Managers without limit? Few of them are worth, or can justify, more than £500k pa gross in any event.

Will it drive them all away to Dubai etc? 

Not a cat in hell's chance when the likes of KPMG can have their cake and eat it by lying about more than 500 people being owners of the LLP for one part of the Companies Act but not other parts - aided and abetted by ICAEW as they publicly admit.

The fetid swamp that is the deliberately under-resourced Companies House is the reason the professionals will stay here to continue to promote the UK as the go-to centre for Economic Crime. If their clients are here, they will stay here. Now if Company Law Compliance was mandatory instead of being voluntary ............

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of shysters, particularly those in the "fund management activities" (avge pay >£600k) such as the fraudsters at Albion Capital Group who backdate documents to evade even the smallest amounts of tax (per documents filed, refiled again and again at Companies House).

Interesting disclosures in the source document at page 10 that speaks volumes about the state of the UK economy.

The Foresight Saga begins.... and will be regularly updated here [last update 12 March 2025]

For those who have been following the grubby Albion crimes and scams perpetrated by Patrick Reeve, Will Fraser-Allen and the gang in Benjamin Street, it will probably come as no surprise to find that "Foresight" is at the "Forefront" as one of most of the other VCT investment managers who don't know one end of the Companies Act compliance requirements from the other, and therefore I have become a shareholder in Foresight Group Holdings Ltd, a Guernsey company with its shares traded on LSE and with its 2 UK llps authorised by the FCA. [UPDATE WEDNESDAY 18 MAY - prior updates retained] At this morning's 9.00am meeting the Chairman refused to let me speak or ask questions. Prior to the meeting I had submitted some questions in writing to which written answers were given to some but not all of the matters. I objected but the Chairman was adamant. The meeting, like the last one, was recorded by agreement.
