Try reconciling today's Companies House filings with both the legal requirements and the "porkies" that are being told to the Public by fully regulated City of London Asset Managers:

My former Joint Venture partners and fellow Company Directors (US$50m more than 35 years ago, Rod Kent and Peter Winkworth of Close Brothers plc) will surely be ashamed and appalled by the misconduct of the man they recruited at that time and to whom they then sold the VCT business.

Is it safe or advisable to carry on any business in the City of London?
